How Does a Proxy Rack Work?

A proxy rack is a rack designed specifically to conceal any personal information from view while online. It has been found to be popular in certain countries where Internet censorship is very strong. For instance, China has a proxy rack on every block leading to a situation where individuals cannot access certain websites for fear of prosecution. Proxy stands for the special kind of proxy server used for the purpose of masking your IP address while you surf. Your IP address is an important aspect to consider while accessing the web and not revealing it to any one or more than three sites. Without revealing your IP, you can make various activities possible like browsing and downloading.

The internet is a vast web and within the World Wide Web as well. Many origins and destinations are visible to the public and the risk of divulging ones private information is very eminent. On the other hand, there are certain well-known locations which are completely secure and no one dares to access them since they are restricted and blocked by certain systems. Hence, there are certain well-known places which provide special offers such as a proxy service to keep people safe and confidential while accessing the web.

It is difficult to pinpoint the role of a proxy rack in this scheme. It is often found that the user simply types in his IP address while browsing the net and voila, all kinds of data and private information become accessible. However, one has to be careful when he is using these kinds of services. There are some websites which supply these services for free but there are many that offer these services along with other features.

There are certain ways in which a proxy rack works. The most commonly used method is called the reverse proxy. In this system, the internet users are asked to visit one specific website. Once a user visits this website, he is asked to enter his/her IP address. This process is then repeated again till the end user gets a stable IP address and a private IP address.

Similarly, there are also some proxy servers which use hop by hop data transfers. In this method, the requests are first made through special offer web sites and then they are sent to the requested website. A server is used to forward the request to the desired website. This server receives the request, processes it and forwards it to the final destination. This process can take up to 10 seconds.

There are two types of IP proxy server – the Cloud servers and the Common software. A cloud server is also known as the backbone or the middleman. Here, there is ShoppingCodes and its associated terminals which form a cloud network. This network serves as the communication medium between the client and the server. The process is relatively easy. The user just has to connect to one cloud server and make all the necessary connections that are needed for the secure communications.

On the contrary, Common software is the one which provides internet connectivity. It uses IP addresses and special offers to make the connections more efficient and reliable. A typical proxy rack has three major functionalities – the three types of connections and exit nodes. The three connections are done through the common software, which is again managed by the web server. As for the exit nodes, this is done through the proxy server so that the user can choose the desired node among many.

As far as the connections are concerned, the common software provides connections such as ICMP, TCP, POP/SMTP and USP traffic. It does not allow the accessing of FTP and SMTP. It only allows secured Socket Layer protocols. Since all the connections are made automatically gets the benefits of having high speed internet connection. If you are looking for a secure way of making internet connections, then you should try out the proxy rack.
